Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all cleaning services provided by Holiday Let Cleaners (“we”, “our”, “us”) to our clients. By booking or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before confirming a booking.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, confirming a booking, or engaging Holiday Let Cleaners to carry out any cleaning service, you accept these terms in full. These terms form the entire agreement between us and override any prior discussions, representations, or agreements unless confirmed in writing.

2. Our Services

We provide professional cleaning services for holiday let properties, serviced accommodation, and short-term rental properties. Services include, but are not limited to, turnover cleaning, linen changeovers, deep cleaning, restocking, damage inspections, and emergency cleans. The specific scope of work for each visit is agreed at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any booking where the condition of the property is hazardous, the scope of work significantly exceeds what was described, or we cannot access the property at the agreed time.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are provided as estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may vary if the property condition, size, or scope of work differs materially from what was described. We will notify you of any price adjustment before proceeding where possible.

Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. Invoices are payable within the period specified. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, as permitted by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked clean. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the agreed clean price. Same-day cancellations after our team has departed may be charged in full. We will not charge a cancellation fee if we are unable to attend due to circumstances on our side.

5. Access to the Property

You are responsible for ensuring our cleaners can access the property at the agreed time. This includes providing key safe codes, key holder contact details, or any access instructions. If we cannot access the property within 30 minutes of the agreed arrival time and cannot reach you, we may treat the booking as a late cancellation.

6. Damage and Liability

We carry public liability insurance and take reasonable care of your property. If any damage is caused by our cleaners, you must report it to us within 24 hours of the clean completing, with supporting evidence. Claims reported after this period may not be accepted.

We are not liable for: pre-existing damage or wear; items of exceptional value not disclosed before the clean; damage caused by faulty or aged fixtures and fittings; or any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services.

Our photographic completion reports document the condition of the property after each clean. These records are retained and may be used in the event of a dispute.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you in connection with any single clean or booking shall not exceed the amount paid for that clean. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Client Obligations

You agree to: provide accurate information about your property and cleaning requirements; ensure the property is safe and free from hazards before our team arrives; disclose any potential risks including pest infestations, structural issues, or biohazards; and not request that our cleaners perform work outside the agreed scope without prior agreement.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, and photographs is owned by or licensed to Holiday Let Cleaners and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
